Stay in your lane. Because we partner with other firms, some lawyers who handle their own appeals will ask for Appellors to manage one section or legal issue for a brief, but want to handle the rest of the mechanics themselves. Here, Appellors are hyper-focused on the research related to the issues assigned by lead counsel.
Case and Brief Review
Two heads are better than one. We work with trial counsel on the prospects for appeal and with appellate counsel to improve their work. Our work here is often intended to save money by stopping appeals that should be stopped as much as it is to win appeals in process.
